    On 5 May1910, the census shows John D. (51) and Molly (41) MAIER living in Troy Township, Perry County, Indiana. With them were their sons Hardin age 17; and Cully age 9. John was a farmer. They owned their farm free of morgage. John and Hardin were listed as farmers.
    On 5 Jan 1920, the census shows John D. (61) and Mollie (51) MAIR living in Troy Township, Perry County, Indiana. With them was their Cully age 18. They owned their home free of morgage.
    On 5 Apr 1930, the census shows the widowed Mollie MAIER age 60 living on 5th Street, Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana. Mollie was renting her home at $8.00 a month.

Hardin MAIER, born 16 Jan 1893, Perry County, Indiana, son of John D. and Mollie (___?___) MAIER.
    Hardin married Elsie L. KLEIN 1915/16. She was born Aug 1894, Perry County, Indiana, the daughter of Charles F. and Josephine (___?___) KLEIN.
    On 5 Jun 1917, the World War 1 Draft Registration Card for Hardin MAIER shows him living in Clyde, Indiana. It said he was an auto mechanice and worked for the Lehman Manufacturing Company in Cannelton, Indiana. He was married. He requested exemption from mililtary duty because he had his wife to support. He was medium height and stout build. He had gray eyes and brown hair.
    On 3 Jan 1920, the census shows Hardin (26) and Elsia (25) MYERS living on Knight Street, Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana. Hardin was a iron worker at the foundry. They owned their home free of morgage.
    On 15 Apr 1930, the census shows Hardin (36) and Elsie (35) MAIER living in Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana, with Elsie's parents Charles F. (64) and Josephine (60) KLEIN. With them were their Maier children Evelyn M. age 10; and Nora L. age 3.

    Lenore married Jerry POORE, Tuesday, 25 Oct (I don‘t have the year.). They were married at St. John’s German-Evangelical Church in Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana, by Rev. Fred FAHRANKAMP. He was from Salem, North Carolina, son of J. A. POORE of Mount Airy, North Carolina. His sister was Mrs. Paul A. JONES.
    Lenore graduated from Cannelton High School.
    Lenore worked as a secretary for several years before her marriage.
    Jerry was an electrical engineer with Bahnson Company of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

    Cully married Lulu THIERY.
    In 1919, Cully graduated from high school.
    Cully then went to work for his father.
    On 9 Apr 1930, the census shows Cully (29) and Lula (34) MAIER living on Tenth Street, Tell City, Perry County, Indiana. With them were their children Cletus age 8, and Wilma age 5. Also living with them was Lulu's sister Bertha THIERY age 25. They were renting their place for $20.00 a month. They owned a radio. Cully was 20 and Lula was 26 when they married. Cully was a manager of a lumber company. Lula was a school teacher.
