    Andrew marreid 2nd Katherine LEISTNER 26 Jan 1858, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Evanston, Indiana. (The Indiana marriage record is 14 Jan 1858 with the names of Antreas MANN and Catherine LEASTER.) Katherine was born 23 Jun 1838, Langenreuth, Oberfranken, Bavaria, Germany, daughter of August George Martin and Elizabetha (LAUTNER) LEISTNER. She died 19 Dec 1920, Huff Township, Spencer County, Indiana at the age of 82 years.
    In 1849, Katherine LEISTNER immigrated to the United States.
    In 1850, according to the 1900 census, Andrew arrived in the United States and received his naturalization in Pennsylvania. (According to another family source, he arrived in 1851, arriving in New Orleans from Bremen on 1 Jun 1851.)
