We certainly enjoyed being with you and to see you all again. We reached Millard's that afternoon safely and found everything O.K. The boys happy and well. Harvey and Doris Jean came over for supper and all were pleased to see us back. Henry and I came on up home on Friday. We had left our car at Cannelton so all we had to do when we got off the bus was to collect or few groceries and come on home. Anna & family were here and were so glad to see us safely back home. Everything was just alright. The children said they had a nice time but missed Grandma and Grandpa. Well we just had a wonderful trip. I got to see several old friends at McGehee but 43 yrs is a long time and so many of them have passed on to a better world. No you all must come to see us if you can but War is going to change lots of plans and thing again. It looks rather bad now, but maybe it will get better and not be too bad, hope so anyhow. Write and tell us h ow things go with the boys. As ever your loving Uncle Henry and Aunt Jane."
